Cries sent from the earth to foster the belief
Beyond the veil of mortal ties weeping statues stand in salute
They signal arrival of demons that come from inside
Life dried up in drought the end of all belief
Before the face of spectral might crooked servants suffer
They carry the burden of fresh graves and old tombs
Like sand through an hourglass, time slips away
Like thoughts of affection, that will smolder and fade
Standing at the crossroads and I’m telling you now
There’s an answer to your questions and that answer's been found
Warpath, violence, you stand defiant
In world full of friction it all falls silent
You owe it nothing, so let it all go
Put this rope around your neck
What have you got to lose?
The aftermath, a sight to behold
A gruesome centerfold
A masterpiece put on display
Of life’s tendency to just give up and wither away

I can safely say that after jamming this album for 3 years, it is hands down my FAVORITE death metal album. I've never been able to pick a favorite before, but every single thing about this album is just perfection. Flawless production, god-level riffage, ride cymbal work that rings through to your bones, bass lines that perfectly accentuate the rhythm and the riffs, and of course HAIL MOLLUSCA Hatch
The songs are masterfully composed and flow together beautifully, and the orchestration is exactly how I want metal orchestration to sound: full, playable by a real orchestra, and just as important to the music as the vocals, drums, guitar, and bass are. tonycordeshimself
It is so good! there is definitely a dose of Opeth in this amazingness. Like if Opet was still going hard, but harder. Sexy progressive metal! DemiBeast
